James Bignon & The Deliverance Mass Choir and Bobby Howard Endorsements  Lead to Increased Organ and Tissue Donors 

Over the past three years James Bignon and the Deliverance Mass Choir have toured throughout the State of Georgia partnering with Clergy members to dispel the myth surrounding organ and tissue donations. 

The “Gift of Life Gospel Concert” is the brainchild of keynote speaker Bobby Howard, a kidney transplant recipient, former NFL team member for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Multicultural Education Manager for the LifeLink of Georgia Foundation.


Georgia is now leading the nation for African-American organ and tissue donation 

African American churches around the State of Georgia have hosted “The Gift of Life Gospel Concert,” an informative and entertaining event designed to educate African American of the importance of organ and tissue donation. It has proven to be an effective method to increase minority donor registration.

Since the initial concept, several artists have joined the campaign including:  Bishop Paul Morton, Luther Barnes and the Sunset Jubliaries, LaShun Pace and R&B sensation Dwele.
